1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the golf club subscription service provided by The Golf Subscription Company Ltd. By subscribing, you confirm you understand, accept, and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree to any part, you must not subscribe or use our service.
2. Who Can Subscribe
- You must be 18 years or older and a resident of the United Kingdom.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when subscribing.
- Subscriptions are for individual personal use only and must not be used for business, commercial, or resale purposes.
- You must pass our ID verification check before your subscription can be activated. If you fail the ID verification check, your subscription will not be activated and any payment taken will be refunded in full within 5 to 10 working days.
3. Subscription Options and Contract Duration
a. Subscription Types:
We offer fixed-term subscription plans. Our standard plan runs for 89 days from the date of delivery. We may also offer alternative plan lengths from time to time, which will be clearly communicated at the point of subscription.
b. Contract Start:
The contract is formed when you receive a confirmation email from TGSC. Your subscription term begins from the date your clubs are delivered to you.
c. Minimum Commitment:
All plans require commitment for the full subscription term. Early cancellation does not entitle you to a refund unless explicitly stated otherwise in these Terms.
d. Auto-Renewal:
Before your subscription term ends, we will contact you to discuss your end of term options using the contact details provided at the time of subscribing. If you do not notify us of your chosen end of term option within 7 days of your term ending, your subscription will automatically continue for a further term of the same length and payment will be taken accordingly. It is your responsibility to ensure your contact details are kept up to date so we can reach you in good time.
4. End of Term Options
At the end of each subscription term, you will be presented with the following options:
- Continue your subscription for a further term with the same clubs
- Upgrade to a different set of clubs for a new subscription term
- Purchase the clubs outright, subject to eligibility and availability at the time
- Cancel your subscription and return the clubs
Full details of each option will be provided when we contact you before your term ends. Any purchase option is subject to a separate written agreement between you and TGSC. Until such agreement is signed and full payment has been received by TGSC, title in the clubs remains with TGSC absolutely. No ownership of the clubs transfers to you at any point during your subscription term.
5. Pricing, Payment and Billing
- All prices include VAT where applicable.
- Payments are charged in advance for the subscription term.
- We accept major UK debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
- You agree to maintain a valid payment method for the full duration of your subscription term. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment details are kept up to date.
- If a payment fails, is reversed, or remains unpaid, TGSC may suspend or cancel your subscription and recover any outstanding balances. Where necessary, we reserve the right to refer the matter to a debt recovery agency, which may affect your credit rating.
- We reserve the right to update prices with 14 days' notice, which will apply to future billing cycles.
6. Cooling-Off Period and Cancellations
a. Your Right to Cancel:
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may cancel within 14 days of subscribing without giving a reason, provided the clubs have not yet been dispatched.
b. Cancelling Your Plan:
- You can cancel your subscription by following our cancellation process or by contacting us directly via WhatsApp or email at help@thegolfsubscriptioncompany.com.
- Cancellations take effect at the end of your current subscription term.
- No partial refunds are issued once a billing cycle has started unless otherwise stated in these Terms.
7. Delivery of Clubs
- Delivery is via tracked courier and usually takes up to 5 to 7 working days from the date of order.
- Delivery dates are estimates and delays are not grounds for compensation.
- You must inspect the clubs within 24 hours of delivery and notify us of any damage or defect. Failure to notify us within this time means the clubs are deemed to have been received in good condition.
- A signature is required on delivery. TGSC is not responsible for failed deliveries where access has not been made available.
8. Returns and End of Term Requirements
- Clubs must be returned within 5 days of your subscription term ending.
- Return packaging and instructions will be provided before your term ends.
- If clubs are not returned within 5 days of your term ending, a late fee of £10 per day will apply from the first day after the return deadline.
- If clubs are not returned within 14 days of your term ending, TGSC reserves the right to charge up to 100% of the full MSRP of the clubs at the time your subscription began, plus any additional costs reasonably incurred including but not limited to legal fees, courier costs, and administration charges.
- Where clubs remain unreturned and charges remain outstanding, TGSC reserves the right to refer the matter to a debt recovery agency, which may affect your credit rating.
- TGSC reserves the right to pursue any outstanding amounts as a civil debt.
9. Ownership of Clubs
All golf clubs, bags, and associated equipment supplied as part of any subscription plan remain the sole property of The Golf Subscription Company Ltd at all times. No title or ownership in the equipment transfers to you at any point during your subscription term. You are granted a limited right to use the clubs during the active subscription term only, subject to these Terms. Any transfer of ownership is subject to a separate written agreement between you and TGSC. Until such agreement is signed and full payment has been received by TGSC, title in the clubs remains with TGSC absolutely.
10. Use of Equipment and Fair Use
- You agree to use the clubs only for recreational golf and not for commercial use, rental, or lending to third parties.
- Clubs must be treated with reasonable care and returned in a similar condition, allowing for normal fair wear and tear from regular recreational use. For the avoidance of doubt, fair wear and tear means light cosmetic wear from normal play only. It does not include shaft rash, sky marks, dents, cracks, deep scratches, or damage resulting from misuse or negligence.
- Guidance on what constitutes acceptable use and care is set out in our club care guidelines, available on our website.
- If clubs are returned excessively dirty, damaged, or broken beyond normal fair wear and tear, TGSC reserves the right to charge for cleaning, repair, or full replacement at MSRP at the time your subscription began.
11. Damage, Loss or Theft
- You are responsible for the clubs from the time of delivery until they are received back by TGSC.
- In the event of loss, theft, or irreparable damage, TGSC reserves the right to charge up to the full MSRP of the affected clubs at the time your subscription began, plus any additional costs reasonably incurred including but not limited to legal fees, courier costs, and administration charges.
- In the event of theft, a valid police report number must be provided. Each case will be reviewed individually.
- TGSC reserves the right to pursue any outstanding amounts as a civil debt and, where necessary, refer the matter to a debt recovery agency, which may affect your credit rating.
12. Our Right to Terminate
TGSC may suspend or terminate your subscription immediately if you:
- Breach these Terms
- Fail to make payment
- Abuse the service, including but not limited to fraud, resale, or repeated loss or damage
Termination of your subscription does not affect any rights TGSC has already accrued to recover charges, equipment, or any other amounts owed at the point of termination. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
13. Fulfilment
In the event that TGSC is unable to fulfil your subscription due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to stock unavailability, supplier failure, or events of force majeure, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative or a full refund of any amounts paid.
14. Your Personal Data
- We process your data in compliance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Information is used only for service delivery, communication, analytics, and fraud prevention.

15. Limitation of Liability
- TGSC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including but not limited to loss of profits, injury caused by improper use of clubs, or missed bookings due to delivery delays.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 3 months prior to any claim.
- Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
16. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

- If we cannot resolve your issue, you may refer to the Consumer Ombudsman or use the UK Online Dispute Resolution platform.
17. Changes to These Terms
TGSC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to our website and will take effect from your next billing period. You are encouraged to check these Terms regularly.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
